Crane art performance
In this performance, I was hung by a crane thirty meters above
the ground. From there, I dropped water onto a chemically treated
paper, writing the Chinese character for "love." The
paper changes color when touched by water, returning to its original
state as it dries. When the paper totally dried, and the marks
I made disappeared, the performance was complete.

New Year's Day performance at Kashihara
Jingu, a Shinto shrine
There are 5 large white spheres. A sphere represents the earth,
and white means peace. By writing "love" and "peace"
on the spheres, I hoped to send a message of peace to the world.
At this time, the shrine was filled with people praying for peace
in the upcoming year. This performance was televised live.

Crane art performance on the 59th anniversary of the end of World
War II..
Using a crane, I am suspended in the air holding a rope attached
to a calligraphy brush. I guide the brush using the rope and write
the character for "love" on a paper on the ground. The
theme of this performance was "Love From the Air." On
this day, love fell from the air instead of bombs.
